Community Overview
Lake Julia has brought families together for over a century — and this section helps keep that tradition going. Here you'll find the tools to stay connected with your neighbors, participate in the Association, and contribute to the programs that protect the lake we all share.
Throughout this site, names — whether of individuals, cabins, or areas — are often followed by a number in parentheses. That number is a house number from the Lake Julia House Map, which assigns a unique identifier to each of the 49 properties around the lake. Numbering begins at the Starke house at the boat landing and increases clockwise from #1 to #49. It's a handy shorthand for placing people and places in relation to the lake itself — for example, Charles "Pete" Schlueter (#23) identifies Pete's property, The Point House (#10) is the affectionate nickname for house number 10, and Bradford Lane Properties (#25–#35) refers to the cluster of homes along that stretch of shoreline.
The Lake Julia Facebook page is home to some truly beautiful photography of the lake, generously shared by one of our own. Give it a follow and see what you've been missing.
