Your contributions fund the programs that keep Lake Julia clean, safe, and thriving.
Where It Goes
The Association's largest annual expense — by far — is the Clean Boats, Clean Waters monitoring program, which stations trained inspectors at the public boat landing to check incoming boats for aquatic invasive species. Without this program, Eurasian Water Milfoil from nearby Virgin Lake could spread to Lake Julia.
Contributions also cover costs for the annual meeting and picnic, special programs and outside speakers, and general Association administration.
| Program | Annual Cost | State Funding | Needed from Residents |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clean Boats, Clean Waters | ~$12,000 | ~$4,000 | ~$8,000 |
